| Registered Sanitarian / Registered Environmental Health Specialist are trained in the field of environmental health or, "public health protection and safety".
Kentucky public health professionals must qualify for registration by having an adequate educational background
and successfully completed an exam based on public/environmental health. Once registered, the public/enviromental health
professional is duly qualified to perform requlatory services to safeguard the public's health. The RS/REHS registration is renewed
annually along with proof of acquired continuing educational credits as specified in the RS Law. |
