KRS 209 - Adult Protective Services Statute
This is the primary training provided by the Adult Protection Branch and includes information from all other listed trainings. The objectives of this training are to identify the laws governing adult protection; become familiar with terminology; identify reporting requirements; increase familiarity with red flags associated with adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation; understand the importance of raising awareness; increase familiarity with the caregiver misconduct registry; and to increase the familiarity of the Local Coordinating Councils on Elder Abuse. (This training can be completed in as little as one hour and up to two hours)
What is the Caregiver Misconduct Registry?
The objectives of this training are to provide familiarity to the caregiver misconduct registry and how it is utilized in Kentucky. (This training can be completed in less than one hour).
What are the indicators of abuse/neglect and exploitation of adults?
The objectives of this training are to provide familiarity to red flags associated with abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults and provide information about how to report suspicions. (This training can be completed in less than one hour).
